It Keeps Playing While Viewers Browse On a phone, switching between Q&A and Content does not stop the video. Full Screen With Q&A Viewers can enlarge the video and keep the chat on screen with the Full screen with Q&A button. Nothing Loads From the Video Site Until Play Your Q&A page shows its own poster with Watch the presentation on it, and nothing is requested from the video site until a viewer presses play. Your Play Button, Your Colour With white-label branding (paid plans), the play button on the poster takes your accent colour. On Every Plan at No Extra Cost Every plan can add one video at no extra cost, free plan and trial included. You can change or remove it at any time. Simple Setup, Powerful Results 1 Open Your Presentations In the sidebar, open Your Presentations and find the presentation's card. Its Presentation video row says "Let viewers watch it and ask questions on your Q&A page." 2 Click Add video In the Presentation video row, click Add video. The Add a presentation video dialog opens with the cursor in Video link. 3 Paste Your Link Paste a link or embed code from YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia or Cloudflare Stream into Video link. A valid link shows the host's real player as a preview, so you can check it plays before you save. 4 Click Save video Click Save video. You see "Video saved." Once the change reaches your Q&A page, viewers see a Watch the presentation poster, and anyone who already has the page open sees it after a reload. Nothing loads from the video site until a viewer presses play. 5 Preview It in Rehearsal Click Rehearse your talk on the same card to see your Q&A page the way your audience does, video included. On a custom domain (Present Everywhere), also open your Q&A page on your own address and press Watch the presentation. 6 Share Your Q&A Page Share your Q&A link as you normally do. Viewers press Watch the presentation and ask your AI Co-Presenter while the video plays. Use it for an on-demand or pre-recorded talk Add the link of a recording to a presentation you've uploaded, and people who watch later have somewhere to ask. A recording of your live talk, a pre-recorded keynote or training, or slides turned into a narrated video all work. There is no scheduling, replay automation or view count, and anyone who can open your Q&A page can watch the video. The AI answers from your slides and documents, not from the video Your video is for your audience to watch. Your slides and the supporting documents you added to the presentation feed your AI Co-Presenter, which writes the answers. Your video feeds only the player: it is not used by the AI, so what is said in the video does not reach its answers. If viewers should be able to ask about something you only say aloud, add it as a supporting document. Who it's for Anyone whose talk lives in a video and whose viewers have questions. Presenters who recorded their talk Add the recording's link after a live talk, so people who missed it, or want a second look, can watch it and ask. Pre-recorded keynotes and training A keynote, training or onboarding session that people watch on their own time, with their questions beside it. Anyone with slides and a voiceover Turn your slides into a narrated video with Google Vids or a PowerPoint export, then add its link. Nothing loads from the video site until play Your Q&A page shows its own poster: your first slide under a dark overlay with a play button and the label Watch the presentation. If your slides are not shared, a title card shows instead. Nothing is requested from the video site until a viewer presses play, and YouTube videos play in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. While you set a video up, the preview in the dialog does load from the video host straight away. This is what our Privacy Policy says about it: If a presenter adds a video to their Q&A page, it loads from the video host (YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia or Cloudflare) only when you press play. From then on that host receives your IP address and may set or read cookies of its own, under its own policy, not ours. Read the full Privacy Policy. YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia and Cloudflare Stream. Paste a normal link to the video's page, or the embed code the site gives you. Playlists, channels, YouTube clips, Vimeo showcases and live events, Wistia share pages and Cloudflare Stream videos that need signed URLs are not supported, and the dialog tells you what to do instead. Can I upload a video file directly to PresEngage? No. The video stays at your video host and you give PresEngage a link to it. Each presentation can have one video. Which plans include it, and does it cost extra? Every plan can add a presentation video at no extra cost, the free plan and trial included, and there is no separate charge. Your audience is never asked to pay for the video. A video plays on your own domain only with a custom domain (Present Everywhere). Does the AI know what is said in my video? No. Your AI Co-Presenter answers from your slides and the supporting documents you added to the presentation. If you want questions about something you only say aloud to be answered, add that material as a supporting document. Who can watch my video? Anyone who can open your Q&A page, whether or not your slides can be downloaded or shared. Adding a video is its own choice, separate from your slides' privacy setting. If you do not want everyone with the link to see it, do not add it. My video says "Video unavailable" or will not play. What should I check? Your video host is blocking the player. In YouTube, set the video to Unlisted or Public and turn on Allow embedding; a Private video cannot be shown. In Vimeo and Wistia, allow presengage.com and ask.presengage.com in your domain restrictions, plus your own address if you use a custom domain (Present Everywhere). In Cloudflare Stream, turn off Require signed URLs and check the allowed origins. The preview in the Add a presentation video dialog is the real player, so you can see a problem before you save. How do I turn my slides into a video? In Google Slides choose File, then Convert to Video, add a voiceover or record yourself, then choose File, then Export to YouTube, and set the video to Unlisted in YouTube Studio. This needs a Google Workspace plan that includes Vids, and converted videos can run up to 10 minutes. In PowerPoint choose File, then Export, then Create a Video, upload the file to YouTube or Vimeo as Unlisted, and paste its link. Already recorded your talk? Upload that recording to YouTube or Vimeo as Unlisted the same way. Can I change or remove the video later? Yes. Click Change video on the presentation's card, paste a new link and click Save video. To take the video off your Q&A page, click Change video, then Remove video, and confirm. Your Q&A page goes back to slides and chat, and nothing is deleted at your video host. People who already have your Q&A page open see the change when they reload it. What does the video site learn about my viewers? Nothing is requested from the video site until a viewer presses play, and YouTube videos play in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. After that, the video host receives the viewer's IP address and may set or read cookies of its own, under its own policy, not PresEngage's. While you set a video up, the preview in the dialog does load from the host straight away. See the Privacy Policy for the wording. Does it work on my own domain? Yes, with a custom domain (Present Everywhere). If your video is limited to certain sites, allow presengage.com, ask.presengage.com and your own address, then open your Q&A page on your own address and press Watch the presentation to check. The preview in the dialog runs on presengage.com, so it cannot show how the video behaves on your address. Does it work on phones, and can viewers still ask questions while it plays? Yes. On a phone a Watch the presentation bar sits above the Q&A and Content tabs. After the tap the player stays pinned above them, with Full screen with Q&A and Close video buttons, so viewers can switch between Q&A and Content while it plays. On iPhone, and with Wistia on any phone, the video host's own play button may need one more tap. Turn the phone sideways and the video and chat sit side by side. Is it available in the Google Meet or Zoom side panels, or by text message? No. The video appears on your web Q&A page, including its version on a custom domain (Present Everywhere). It does not appear in the Google Meet or Zoom side panels, or in text and WhatsApp conversations on the optional pay-per-use add-on. Will the video have captions? Yes, if you turn them on at your video site. Captions come from the video host, so turn them on there and everyone can follow along. Can I see how many people watched? No. PresEngage does not show view counts. Can I use it for an on-demand or pre-recorded webinar? Yes for the video and the questions: add the recording's link to a presentation you've uploaded, and people who watch later can ask your AI Co-Presenter.
